I'm not so much into regency fashion, but when I saw this fabric it just screamed "Jane Austen", so I simply had to buy it.
I think it was finished faster than any other project of mine. Regency is lovely if you don't have time!

Actually, I've never worn it outside the flat, as I'm still in need of the right accesoires and some kind of shift or flesh-coloured underskirt. It's just too flimsy to wear it like that, although I know that some women really wore shockingly sheer dressed back then.
