This is for all the Diana Gabaldon fans out there. That's the sort of thing Highlanders really wore. Adam should have held his basket-hilted broadsword instead of the sciam dubh, I guess, but it was rainy and we didn't want thinbgs to rust to quickly.

Photo taken at Fort George in the real Highlands after a show. Yay!

By the way, he actually just met Mrs Gabaldon last weekend!

Adam liked her enough to forgive her any historical inaccuracy she ever wrote - which is a great deal of liking, as both og us are sooo strict on that matter. He couldn't tell her all of our story, but he got me a signed copy of her new Lord John book a month before is officially sold, and when he forgot a little note including my name on a table, she asked: "Alisa G...? Isn't that Adam Fowler's girlfriend?" He likes to make fun of her apparently quite strong American accent, though.

He envisioned a steamer so grand in scale, and so luxurious in its appointments that its supremacy would never be challenged. And here she is, willed into solid reality.

Mmm... cute boy in kilt... couldn't ask for anything better.

If that isn't romantic, I don't know what is.
LOL, he's shaking his head in disbelief. ;-)
